Drug Designing And Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology is recently gaining more importance in various disciplines in the field of science. In the field of medicine, nanotechnology is useful for either diagnostics and prognosis of some diseases or its treatment. The nanotechnology is applied in the manufacture of imaging agents, nanoelectronic biosensors, nanodevices, and microdevices with nanostructures. Applications that are concerned to treat the diseases attains greatest achievement by the research scientists. Nanotechnology based drug delivery systems expects a significantly redesigning the mode of the existing drugs as favorable drug pharmacokinetics, biodistribution profiles, improved efficacy and also safety can be achieved. Thus, the nanomedicine revolutionized the therapeutics and diagnostics.
