Clot Lysis

 Clot lysis is a most variable process and is heavily influenced by the presence of platelets. A substantial body of literature has shown in both in vivo and in vitro models that platelet-rich clot are resistant to fibrinolysis. Fibrinolysis may be a process that forestalls blood clots from growing and becoming problematic. Clot Lysis process has two types: primary fibrinolysis and secondary fibrinolysis. In fibrinolysis, a fibrin clot, the merchandise of coagulation, is weakened .. Its main enzyme plasmin cuts the fibrin mesh at various places, resulting in the assembly of circulating fragments that are cleared by other proteases or by the kidney and liver.
