Blood Groups Impact Factor

Human blood is divided into four main types: A, B, Ab and O. The differences are due to the antigens present on the surface of blood cells. Antigens are substances that produce an immune reaction by their nature to be perceived as foreign to the body. In response, the body produces substances called antibodies that cancel or neutralize antigens. In the blood, these antigens are called agglutinogens because their presence can cause blood to clot. An individual with type AB blood is a universal recipient, and an individual with type O blood is a universal donor. A journal is a periodic publication intended to advance science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specialized, although some of the older journals publish articles, journals, editorials, short papers, letters and scientific articles in a wide range of scientific fields. The journals contain peer-reviewed articles to ensure that the articles meet the quality and scientific validity standards of the journal. Each of these review articles is part of the permanent scientific dossier.
