Biography

Lei Zhou is the Team Leader of Pandemic Preparedness and Response, China since 2012. She is also the Team Leader of Ebola technical team, China since 2014. She was awarded with the title Member of the Youth Committee, the ninth session, Public Health Branch, Chinese Medical Association. She is selected as the major investigator for the Prevention and control technology of human infection with novel influenza virus and Markov random model study on temporal epidemic trajectory tracking of Hand Foot Mouth Disease.

Research Interest

1. Emerging and re-emerging infectious disease and pandemic preparedness and response, e.g. strategy and decision making modeling methodology, dynamic modeling for pandemic preparedness and response.
2. Public health strategy and policy development and evaluation, e.g. health economic evaluation of vaccination subsidy policy, public health emergency response and decision.
3. Epidemiology methodology, e.g. field investigation, survey design and data utilization.
