Dr. Donato Civitareale is Group Leader at the Institute of Cell Biology and Neurobiology at the National Council of Italian Research. He graduated in Biology at University of Rome in 1980. Dr. Donato Civitatoale received a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Institute of Cell Biology, CNR, Rome from 1982 to 1986. He was a visiting scientist at EMBL , Heidelberg, Germany from 1986-1990. Dr. Donato Civitareale's publications are mainly focused on the differentiation of the thyroid follicular cells and the regulation of the thyroid-specific gene expression.
