Biography

Professor Claudio Zannoni is currently working in Department of Industrial Chemistry at University of Bologna. He recieved his Ph.D. in Chemical Physics, University of Southampton in 1975. Started his career as an Assistant Professor, Faculty of Industrial Chemistry, University of Bologna from 1975-1982. Later he worked as a Visiting Lecturer in Department of Chemistry, University of Southampton, UK from 1979-80, 1980-81, 1981-82. He served as Associate Professor of Physical Chemistry, University of Bologna in 1982-1987 and Full Professor of Physical Chemistry since 1987.

Research Interest

Most of the Dr. Claudio research activity is in the field of liquid crystals and anisotropic soft materials using theory, computer simulations and various spectroscopical techniques and has led to over 200 publications in international journals or multi-author books.
