  Knowledge and Practice on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Associated Factors among High and Preparatory School Students in Awi Zone, North-West Ethiopia

  Background: Human immune deficiency virus is a virus that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome by reducing a person’s ability to fight infection. In the whole world, approximately 37.6 million people were infected by the human immune deficiency virus. Therefore, the main objective of the current investigation was to assess knowledge/awareness and associated factors of HIV/AIDS among Awi zone high and preparatory school students. Method: About 2049 respondents were considered as respondents/participants.
