    An immunosensor could be a kind of biosensor that mixes a biological recognition mechanism with an electrical device that generates a measurable signal in response to changes within the concentration of a given biomolecule. One part (ligand) of the interaction to be studied is covalently immobilized to the matrix and different interactants (analytes) are omitted the device in answer.
