    Respiratory infections have been a persistent threat to human health throughout history. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the importance of vaccines in controlling the spread of respiratory infections. Vaccines have long been a cornerstone of public health efforts to combat diseases and research in this field continues to evolve. Respiratory infections, which encompass a broad spectrum of illnesses affecting the upper and lower respiratory tract, have been a significant public health concern throughout history. These infections can be caused by various pathogens, including viruses, bacteria and fungi and they often lead to symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, congestion and, in severe cases, pneumonia.
