Research Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology,Alexandria University
I am studying the image guided gynecological brachytherapy techniques and outcomes aiming to maximize the tumor control and minimize the treatment induced adverse events in comparison with the conventional brachytherapy. I am also working on a project to evaluate the various intensity modulated radiation therapy techniques for head and neck cancer patients. In order to enrich my professional approach for clinical trials, I obtained Masters of Science in Clinical Investigations (MSCI) from Northwestern University. Regarding the basic research, I am currently studying the acute and late adverse events and efficacy of TiO2 nanoparticles as radiosensitizers for treatment of rabbit liver tumors. Internationally, I am actively working on improving cancer care, and providing better trainings for junior oncologists in the middle east.
My primary research interests include a combination of clinical and basic science cancer research. I currently focus on gynecological, head and neck, and breast cancers
