Biography

Manabu Hashimoto is currently working as a Professor at Department of Radiology and Radiation Oncology, Akita University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan. Dr. Manabu Hashimoto’s areas of expertise include diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine and interventional radiology. Current areas of research include Craniocervical junction venous system, Diagnosis and treatment of intracranial dural arteriovenous fistula, Conebeam-CT of spinal vascular disease, Breast imaging using MRI, Tumor imaging using F-18 FDG-PET, Interventional radiology, especially transcatheter embolization of pulmonary AVM, MR mammography of breast cancer, Radiation oncology and Radiation protection.
