He was an Assistant Professor of Oncology at the Methodist Cancer Center in Houston. He is a translational researcher and has worked on various tumor models of cancer and specializes in breast and pancreatic cancer. His laboratory’s interest is in studying and targeting resistant population of cells in pancreatic and breast cancer. His expertise is in utilizing preclinical models of breast cancer for novel therapeutics along with 2D and 3D models systems to understand their mechanism of action.
