The disease caused by an infection with SARS-CoV-2 is called COVID-19, which stands for coronavirus disease 2019.

Humans first get a coronavirus from contact with animals. Then, it can spread from human to human.

The COVID-19 Symtoms and signs of coronavirus infection virus can be spread through contact with certain bodily fluids, such as droplets in a cough. It might also be caused by touching something an infected person has touched and then touching your hand to your mouth, nose, or eyes.

Symptoms:

Some common symptoms that have been specifically linked to COVID-19 include:

  • shortness of breath
  • having a cough that gets more severe over time
  • a low-grade fever that gradually increases in temperature

These following symptoms may become more severe in some people.

  • trouble breathing
  • blue lips or face
  • persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • confusion
  • excessive drowsiness
