Pathogenicity simply refers to the ability of microorganism such virus, bacterium, protozoa, prion, a fungus, or other micro-organism to cause disease, or attack the host body. The rate of Pathogenicity depends on virulence of microorganism which means ability of the pathogen to multiply within the host.
