Gastric Oncology

It is stomach cancer. Depending upon the type and stage of cancer surgery may be useful to remove the cancer part or the entire stomach. If the cancer is too wide spread an operation helps in stopping the bleeding from the tumor or prevents blocking the stomach. Some types of stomach surgery include Endoscopic resection, partial gastrectomy, and total gastrectomy.
