Biography

I am a Guest Researcher at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, MD, USA, since November, 2012 and have been working on identification and characterization of metabolites in human urine (SRM),‘E. Coli’ and ‘CHO’ cells using LC-MS/MS. Prior to moving to NIST, I earned my Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with Dr. Srinivas Ragampeta at Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, India. There I developed tandem mass spectrometric methods for peptides, ureidopeptides and biologically important compounds. During my doctoral/postdoctoral work I have been exposed to various conventional and advanced mass spectral techniques combined with liquid chromatography. I have contributed to fifteen research publications in highly reputed international journals.
