Dr.Muhammad Irfan has received his PhD in Biotechnology from Shenyang Agricultural University China during the period of 2011 to 2014. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in department of zoology, University of the Punjab, new campus Pakistan. His research has included microbial biotechnology, fermentation technology, enzymology, lignocellulose biotechnology and genomics. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like American Journal of Microbiological Research, Journal of Biology, Punjab University Journal of Zoology and others & expert Reviewers for journals like Process Biochemistry, Bioresources, Brazilian Journal of Microbiology, Carbohydrate Polymers, Cellulose. He has authored more than fifty research articles/books.
