Biography

Prof/Dr Gayathri Devaraja has received her PhD in Microbiology from Mangalore University, India in 2004. Currently, she is working as Associate Professor, dept of Microbiology, Davangere University, India. She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities as Chairperson Dept of Microbiology, Board of Studies, Board of Examination. Dr Gayathri Devaraja is a focused researcher with area of specialization; probiotics for Healthcare, Bioremediation and Hybridoma technology. Based on this research and fellowship training she has received several awards and honors, such as Best paper award, Outstanding Project award, Overseas fellowship award to name a few. She is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Maternal and Paediatric Nutrition etc.& expert Reviewers for journals like Bulletin of Environmental contamination and Toxicology, Current Microbiology, Food safety, Infection and Immunology etc., She have authored more than 40 research articles/books.
