I did my bachelors in biotechnology from Bharathidasan University, India and Ph.D. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County working under Dr.Charles Bieberich. My Ph.D. thesis focussed on understanding the regulation of MYC in prostate cancer. I joined the Hochstrasser lab in August 2012 and will be studying the assembly of the yeast and mammalian proteasome.
