Khristoforova Nadezhda Konstantinovna (born October 30, 1940, Primorsky Krai) is a Soviet and Russian scientist, ecologist and teacher, head of the UNESCO Chair in Marine Ecology of the Far Eastern Federal University, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation. Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor. Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Far Eastern State University. After graduating from the university, he studied at the postgraduate course at the Department of Physical and Colloidal Chemistry of the Far Eastern State University. She defended her thesis on the topic “Electrochemical behavior of oxygen on electrodes and in solutions.” In 1985, at the Institute of Evolutionary Morphology and Ecology of Animals of the USSR Academy of Sciences, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences, devoted to the bioindication of sea water pollution by heavy metals. She became the first doctor of science in the specialty “Ecology” in the Far East of Russia.
