Abstract :

Implants were designed locally using medical grade titanium alloys and were used clinically for the study of its osseointegration properties and its performance. A total of 15 implants were placed in patients with no history of systemic diseases and its outcome was analyzed using radiographic and clinical examination. The parameters considered were the inflammatory response of the soft tissue, mobility of the implant placed and radiological assessment of the implant for marginal and crestal bone loss. The system showed good clinical success and the patients were followed for a period of 7 years for its clinical performance.
