Vital signs are vital. Doubt can also be vital: doubt about the treatment plan; doubt about the discharge plan; uncertainty about dosage of the medicine and allergies. Occasionally, we realise that frail doubt had been the only stop sign on the road to error. What do you feel when doubting? What are its obstacles? Amid the noise of work, how competent are we to hear doubt├ó┬?┬?s whisper? How can one improve one├ó┬?┬?s ability to question oneself? A graduated training of daily callisthenics is suggested to rattle oneself to the presence of doubt├ó┬?┬?s whisper.
