Abstract :

PRP is a cell biogeneration technique that uses the benefits of the patients’ platelets to minimize the signs of aging and restore normal skin function, increasing collagen production, elastin and hyaluronic acid. In the platelets we can find growth factors like: PDGF, VEGF, FGF, EGF that stimulate and induce growth and appearance of new blood vessels, elevate collagen synthesis, promotes tissue regeneration and fibroblast proliferation.This technique potently stimulate cell regeneration and this whole combination results in facial rejuvation, hydrated skin, renewed skin with good elasticity. Biography :

Cristiane Shimazu is a dentist since 1998 by UNITAU (University of Taubaté- SP). She was born and live in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. She is member of Brazilian Association of Dentistry (ABO), Member of Paulista Association of Dental Surgeons (APCD) and member of Brazilian Association of Botulism Toxin and Facial Implants (SBTI). Her expertise in Orofacial Harmonization is considered very good. She is post- graduate in Human Anatomy at University of São Paulo (USP) since 2003, Master Degree in Biomechanic Engineering at University of the State of São Paulo (UNESP) since 2005 and Ph.D of Materials Engineering at University of the State of São Paulo (UNESP), since 2010.
