Abstract :

In today’s complex healthcare landscape, nursing leadership plays a pivotal role in ensuring effective care delivery, staff well-being, and organizational sustainability. This presentation will explore innovative strategies employed by nurse leaders in the United States to build resilience and enhance team performance amid rising challenges such as workforce shortages, pandemic recovery, and evolving patient care needs.Drawing from case studies across major U.S. hospitals, this session outlines key leadership practices—such as adaptive decision-making, inclusive communication, and resilience training—that have proven effective in improving both patient outcomes and staff satisfaction. Emphasis will be placed on how transformational and servant leadership models support professional growth, emotional intelligence, and collaboration among nursing teams. The presentation further examines the integration of digital tools and data-driven approaches in nurse management, such as electronic dashboards for staff performance, predictive scheduling, and remote team coordination. These innovations have significantly contributed to workforce engagement, decreased turnover, and improved morale.Key recommendations include fostering a culture of psychological safety, implementing evidence-based leadership development programs, and establishing mentorship pathways to cultivate emerging nurse leaders. This oral session will offer attendees practical frameworks to replicate these strategies within their own organizations, regardless of geographic or resource limitations.By highlighting real-world outcomes and leadership successes from the U.S. healthcare system, this presentation underscores the critical role of visionary nursing leadership in shaping the future of global health care delivery.
