Abstract :

Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) affects quality of life in postmenopausal women. This RCT assessed the impact of a 12-week supervised pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) program on SUI severity and pelvic floor strength in 100 participants. The PFMT group showed significant reductions in leakage episodes and improved muscle strength compared to controls. Patient-reported quality of life scores also improved markedly. PFMT is confirmed as a first-line, non invasive therapy for managing SUI in this population.
