Abstract :

Nurses are systems thinkers. Adaptive multi-dimensional actors influencing the care delivery system. Unfortunately, the shifting sands of health policy, legal regulation and seemingly complex operational requirements make it difficult to stay ahead of the curve in research and practice. Change is continuous. Adaptive mechanisms used in the past may no longer work in the new developing paradigm. Learn where public policy is moving and how nursing leaders can stay ahead of the curve to shape the developing learning health system. Adaptive complex systems thinking used to understand impact zones where nursing knowledge management is needed to support health care sector transformation.
