Abstract :

Anti cancer biosimilars were isolated from snake poison. Recently Trastuzumab (Herceptin) was said to have HER2/ Neu+ cell proliferation and retards tumor growth. Sanguinarine is said to have tendency to kill epidermoid carcinoma by induction of apoptosis. Methanolic extract of argemone Mexicana is said to show anti cancer activity. So, here we are going to discuss the pharmacological action as well as current status of these anticancer agents. We are also going to discuss the complications and going to compare the anti cancer activity with the anti cancer drugs available today with the autophaghy stimulation which has been recently discovered to induce cell death as well as defend the cells from cancer therapy.
