Pregnant women who have their first time fetal examination must spend high cost in examination and cases are increasing every year. Therefore, in Nursing Administration, it is necessary to analyze for nursing activity cost. Thus, the ABC Cost Analysis is part of the necessary and important planning for budget and descriptive research in order to study for antenatal careâ??s nursing activity cost and individual nursing activity cost. Specific selection is the total of 10 first time pregnant women; service provider is nurse and assistant nurse. Instrument is Questionnaire which consisted of personal information, wages record form, activity record form and dictionary for nursingâ??s activities form. Quality of instrument has the straightness value at .90 and analyze statistic with number of percentage. Research results, it is found that when distinguish nursing activity cost sequentially from more to less, found that nursing activity cost inside the examination room is 1184 Baht, activity cost for front of examination room is 711 Baht, nursing activity cost after examination is 592 Baht, the activity cost for examination card is 239 Baht and for the overall nursing cost per case is 272 Baht. This research result showed the high nursing activity cost of fetal examination, therefore, the practice of skillful nurses in fetal examining room and less time consumption in fetal examining are applicable. Nursing administrators should bring the study to adjust for high activity cost in order to reduce budget and the expenditures.
