We will explore the evolving roles in advanced nursing practice and the significant impact these professionals have on improving patient outcomes and transforming healthcare systems.

Over the years, nursing practice has undergone a significant transformation. Advanced practice nurses have emerged as key players in the healthcare ecosystem, bridging the gap between traditional nursing roles and the expertise of physicians. Including nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, certified nurse-midwives, and certified registered nurse anaesthetists, have expanded their scope of practice to provide direct patient care, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and even perform certain medical procedures. One of the primary benefits of advanced nursing practice is its direct impact on patient outcomes.
