Editorial Note

I am delighted to introduce Journal of Nephrology & Therapeutics (JNT) is an open access bimonthly journal publishing original peer-reviewed research articles in all aspects of the prevention, diagnosis and management of kidney and associated disorders, as well as related molecular genetics, pathophysiology, and epidemiology. Journal is running successfully since 2011.

It is our pleasure to announce that journal has released 9 volumes by the end of 2019 with quality of articles and is successfully running its 10th Volume. As a supplement, JNT published conference proceedings named “15th World Nephrology Conference and 4th World Kidney Congress” with 3 Keynotes from eminent speakers, 14 Scientific Tracks Abstracts and 3+ Posters & Accepted Abstracts.

The New Year promises many exciting developments for Journal of Nephrology & Therapeutics (JNT). Popularity of the JNT can be ascertained by the reader’s interest, curiosity and support, which is estimated from the response we have been receiving from diverse geographical regions all across the world. Moreover, the number of citations per year continues its robust rise as articles enjoy increasingly broad dissemination. The journal is now getting indexed in different academic forums. All these are promising signs. Congratulations to all of our Editorial Board members, reviewers, authors and readers for achieving this distinction.

This peer-reviewed online-only journal publishes original case reports covering the entire spectrum of nephrology and dialysis, including genetic susceptibility, clinical presentation, diagnosis, treatment or prevention, toxicities of therapy, critical care, supportive care, quality-of-life and survival issues. The journal will also accept case reports dealing with the use of novel technologies, both in the arena of diagnosis and treatment. Supplementary material is welcomed.

The intent of the journal is to provide clinicians and researchers with a tool to disseminate their personal experiences to a wider public as well as to review interesting cases encountered by colleagues all over the world. Authors are cordially invited to submit their current research activities and outcomes in the form of any article type of science communication such as original research, review, expert opinion, commentary, short note communication to our Journal. Needless to say, any papers that you wish to submit, either individually or collaboratively, are much appreciated and will make a substantial contribution to the early development and success of the journal. We would like to take this opportunity to thank current editorial board members for their ongoing commitment to the standards to which the journal aspires. During the last two years these board members have handled the large majority of first-round submissions. As a result we have significantly expanded our pool of excellent reviewers, average turnaround times have decreased; most papers now have at least two reviews and their quality has been steadily improving.

We look forward to work with all of you as we continue to make Journal of Nephrology & Therapeutics a success and we welcome your submissions, as well as feedback as authors, readers, and reviewers of the journal.
