Editorial Note

To regulate air pollution, certain national or foreign policies may be used, Clean air directives to mitigate air pollution have been established by international organisations such as the European Union (EU), the United Nations (UN) and environmental programmes. The Environmental Protection Agency is one example (EPA), To minimise pollution, a range of governing measures can be undertaken, Pollution control systems may be installed to minimise the harmful effects of air pollution. To regulate air pollution, you can implement post-combustion controls, You should adopt the most up-to-date end-of-pipe steps to minimise sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter pollution at power plants, large-scale manufacturing, and other sources. Advanced emission standards can be enforced in industries such as iron and steel plants, cement plants, glass manufacturing, and the chemical industry, among others. Emission standards for road vehicles must be improved, All emission requirements should be improved, with a particular emphasis on the regulation of light and heavy-duty diesel vehicles, You should make car inspections and maintenance obligatory, and you should monitor building and road dust. Gasoline-powered vehicles are equipped with catalytic converters in the exhaust pipe to minimise emissions of exhaust gases. You must increase the number of green spaces. You must control agricultural residues, including imposing bans on open burning of household waste, and forest and peatland fires must be avoided. Covered storage and successful application of manure can be implemented; Anaerobic digestion should be facilitated. You should increase the use of nitrogen fertilisers, create efficient application, and use urease inhibitors or ammonium nitrate as a replacement for urea. You need to encourage electric vehicles, you need to promote a move from private passenger cars to public transport, With source separation and treatment, including gas utilisation, you need to promote centralised waste collection, You've got to substitute refrigerant fluids, You should ensure full compliance with the Kigali Amendment, which seeks to phase out hydrofluorocarbons entirely. You must enforce a well-managed two-stage treatment of biogas recovery, you must encourage pre-mining recovery of coal mine gas, you must boost current oil and gas production, you must encourage recovery of associated petroleum gas, you must stop regular flaring, and you must improve leakage control. The use of fossil fuels may be replaced by natural gas, fuel cells & batteries, You should quit coal, develop transparent, stringent air quality standards, and ensure that cities that fail to meet national air quality goals have plans to quit coal and switch away from fossil fuels, replacing them with clean, renewable energy, when and how they will do so.ship-related releases, mining, and other sources.
