Snakes having a place with the family Echis (saw-scaled snake) and Naja (cobras) are generally appropriated in Africa and are of extraordinary clinical significance . A few animal types in the variety Naja (nonspitting cobras) are overwhelmingly neurotoxic and produce dynamic loss of motion without rot . The other species (spitting cobras) are portrayed by cytotoxic example of envenomation which incorporates growing at the chomp site with rankling and wounding that may prompt rot . The plenitude of cytotoxins and cytotoxic PLA2s in the venom of spitting cobras is recommended to be the fundamental factor liable for these clinical highlights . The venom of the as of late portrayed spitting cobra, Naja nubiae , is novel as it shows both cytotoxic and neurotoxic properties
