Thyroid Nodule Scholarly Journal

Thyroid nodules are nodules that usually occur in an otherwise normal thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is located at the base of the neck and is solid or filled with fluid. It is a single nodule or a group of nodules. Thyroid nodules are common and rarely cancerous structures. Thyroid nodules are more common in women than in men. With age, the chances of developing the thyroid also increase. Very often, nodules do not produce any symptoms. It could be identified by a routine physical exam or imaging tests done for some other reason. Scholarly journal is a peer-reviewed journal in which studies on a particular academic discipline are published. The scholarly journals serve as forums for the introduction and presentation for the review of new research and the critique of existing research. Content is usually in the form of articles presenting original research, review articles and book reviews. The term scholarly journal applies to scholarly publications in all fields; this article deals with aspects common to all academic field journals.
