Synthetic Biology Review Journals

According to available reports, approximately 284 journals, 88 conferences, 78 workshops are currently devoted exclusively to synthetic biology and approximately 1,433 articles are published on current trends in synthetic biology. In terms of annual research, the United States, India, Japan, Brazil and Canada are among the main countries where the maximum number of studies related to current synthetic and systemic biology is underway. Synthetic biology consists of designing and manipulating biomolecular systems and cellular capacities. This involves the construction of biological systems from the tiny functional unit to the functional cellular level. Synthetic biology is of two types, one using unnatural molecules to reproduce natural behavior and the other swapping parts from one system to another to finally be assembled, resulting in an unnatural function. Current Synthetic and Systems Biology is an academic journal - hosted by OMICS International - a pioneer in open access publishing - and is one of the top 10 synthetic biology journals. Each year, researchers have noted an increase in the number of conferences organized in this area.
