Chlorophytum comosum is also called as spider plant, airplane plant, ribbon plant or hen and chickens. India most popular as house plans as they are easy to grow. Didn't really grow in the region of tropical and Southern Africa but they become neutralized in other parts of the world even in Western Australia. Flowers of these plants are produced in a long branched inflorescence and are grown at a length of 30 inches and bend downwards. This species are produced with all green leaves and forms only a small proportion of plants sold these are most commonly variegated cultivars. They are easy to grow and are able to thrive in a wide range of tolerant temperature conditions.
