The female reproductive system provides a several functions. The ovaries produce the egg cells, called the ova or oocytes. The oocytes are then moved to the fallopian tube where preparation by a sperm may happen. The prepared egg at that point moves to the uterus, where the uterine covering has thickened in light of the ordinary hormones of the reproductive cycle. Once in the uterus, the prepared egg can embed into thickened uterine covering and keep on creating. On the off chance that implantation doesn't occur, the uterine covering is shed as menstrual stream. Likewise, the female reproductive system produces female sex hormones that keep up the regenerative cycle.
