Primary Health Care Reports

Primary Health Care (PHC) is the base of every health care system; it is the first contact and ongoing link between people and their health providers. Primary Health Care is how individuals and families connect with the health care system throughout their lives. The primary health care approach holds five types of care, like promotive; preventive; curative; rehabilitative; and supportive or palliative. To deliver each type of care, under the primary health care approach, the focus is on preventing illness and promoting health. A Primary Health Need is the situation where the key aspect or majority of the individual's care is concentrated on addressing or preventing their Healthcare needs. It is also recognizable as being over and above what a local authority can be expected to provide, that is social care needs.
