Pharmacodynamics Scholarly Journals

Pharmacodynamics is that the branch of pharmacology that deals with the biochemical and physiological effects of the drugs on the body. In simple words, it is defined as the branch that studies what a drug does to the body when it is being administered into the system. These drugs affect the body either by mimicking normal biochemical and or physiological processes or inhibiting those vital processes. These drugs perform their function through their mode of actions like stimulating, depressing, blocking, stabilizing, replacing, etc. Also, they'll act as direct independent entities which will cause beneficial chemical reactions as radical scavenging or harmful chemical reactions like cytotoxicity, irritation, etc. The desired activity of a drug is measured by its successful targeting to structures like cell walls, ligands, receptors, proteins, ion channels, etc. On the opposite hand, the undesirable effects of a drug include increasing the probability of cell mutations, interactions that are additive or multiplicative, or induced physiological damage or chronic conditions. Scholarly journals may be a peer-reviewed journal during which scholarship concerning a specific academic discipline is published. Scholarly journals function forums for the introduction and presentation for scrutiny of the latest research, and therefore the critique of existing research. Content typically takes the shape of articles presenting original research, review articles, and book reviews. The term Scholarly journal applies to scholarly publications altogether fields; this text discusses the aspects common to all academic field journals.
