Peritoneal Dialysis Scholarly Journal

Peritoneal dialysis is the form of treatment for patients, who are suffering from severe chronic kidney disease or infection. It utilizes the individual's peritoneum in the abdomen as a membrane. Across which fluids and dissolved substances broke down can be exchanged from the blood. A permanent tube is used to in introducing the fluid in the abdomen. It is then flushed out either at every night while the particular patient sleeps or through some regular exchanges throughout the day. Peritoneal dialysis is said to be used as an alternative to hemodialysis. This is significantly less costly in some parts of the world, with the advantage of self-administering. Peritoneal dialysis Scholarly journal is a peer-reviewed journal in which the scholarship that is related to a particular academic discipline is published.
