You will develop legal, technical and scientific knowledge to enable you to recognise, assess, and problem solve risks. You will understand health and safety in high-risk industries including agriculture, construction, transport, and manufacturing, and will be able to develop an organisation's safety and environmental policy, respond to accidents and improve your negotiation, advocacy, management, leadership, communication and teamwork skills. All course tutors are practising consultants and have strong links with professional bodies, which ensures that you will be studying the latest developments and practices. Many are also active in research and you will be encouraged to undertake research which will be recognised within the industry.
