Obstetric anesthesia is related to the woman who is going to give birth to child. This anesthesia is a risky as it includes operating two life’s (mother and unborn child). The professional involved in obstetrics is termed as midwife. It is an obstetric anesthesiologist responsibility to manage the pain management options during childbirth and make mothers more comfortable during labor and delivery. In all types of labor and delivery complications, the Obstetric Anesthesiologists play a key role by utilizing their experience and they make difference in delivery outcome. Since having many complications, dealing with newborns, Obstetric Anesthesiology is said to be an important branch of anesthesiology.
