Mycobacteria are immobile, slow-growing rod-shaped, gram-positive bacteria with high genomic G+C content (61-71%). Due to their special staining characteristics under the microscope, which is mediated by mycolic acid in the cell wall, they are called acid-fast. This is also the reason for the hardiness of mycobacteria. The pathogens that cause tuberculosis are mycobacteria that belong to the M. tuberculosis complex. This complex comprises M. tuberculosis such as M. bovis (subsp. bovis and caprae), vaccine strain M. bovis BCG (Bacille Calmette-Guérin), M. africanum, M. canettii, M. microti, M. pinnipedii. Mycobacterium Para tuberculosis review is the review of disease and its treatment methods providing us information about severity of condition and cure.
