Jute may be a long, soft, shiny bast which will be spun into coarse, strong threads. It's produced primarily from plants within the genus Corchorus, which was once classified with the family Tiliaceae. the first source of the fiber is Corchorus olitorius, but it's considered inferior to Corchorus capsularis. Jute is that the name of the plant or fiber accustomed make burlap, hessian or gunny cloth.
