Indexed Journals In Environmental Technology

Environmental technology (envirotech), green technology (greentech) or clean technology (cleantech) is the use of one or more environmental sciences, green chemistry , environmental engineering and electronic tools to track, model and preserve the natural environment and resources, and to curb the negative impacts of human activity. The term is also used to describe technologies which generate sustainable energy, such as photovoltaics, wind turbines, bioreactors, etc. Environmental technologies are at the core of sustainable development. The term environmental technologies is also used to describe a class of electronic devices capable of promoting a sustainable resource management. Renewable energy is the energy which is easy to replenish. It is considered to be renewable energy that can be produced by natural objects such as sun, wind, etc. In-use technologies include wind, hydropower, solar, geothermal, and biomass / bioenergy. Pollution concerns and greenhouse gas concerns have spurred the search for sustainable alternatives to our current fuel use. Biogas from anaerobic fermentation of plant waste may be collected for heat or electricity generation, for example. Global greenhouse gas reduction requires the adoption of both energy conservation and sustainable generation. That reduction of environmental harms entails global changes.
