The littlest chromosome, chromosome 21, contains around 300 qualities. An uncommon Japanese bloom named Paris japonica sports a surprising 149 billion base sets, making it multiple times the size of a human genome—and the biggest genome at any point found. Up to this point, the greatest genome had a place with the marbled lungfish, whose 130 billion base sets tipped the scales at an amazing 132.83 picograms. Most cells in our body have two duplicates of the genome with 6 billion base sets of DNA.
