Fish-reproduction

Fish reproductive organs includes testes and ovaries. In most of the species, gonads are the paired organs of similar size and shape , that may be partially or totally fused. There can also be a range of secondary organs which increase the reproductive fitness.
The methods of reproduction in fishes are varied and different, but most fishes lay a large number of small eggs, fertilized and scattered outside of the body. The eggs of pelagic fishes remains suspended in the open water. Many shore and freshwater fishes lay eggs on the bottom of the plants. Some of these fishes have adhesive eggs.
