Fisheries Biology And Ecology

Ecosystem is a biology division with respect to interactions between organisms and their biophysical environment that involves both biotic and abiotic components. Interesting issues include the ecology, distribution, biomass and organism populations, as well as cooperation and competition within and between organisms. Ecosystems are structures of organisms that communicate dynamically, the populations they make up, and the non-living components of their environment. Ecosystem processes like primary production, pedogenesis, nutrient cycling, and niche building regulate the flux of energy and matter through an environment. Such processes are maintained by organisms which have unique characteristics of life history. Ecology has practical uses in conservation biology, wetland management, natural resource management (agroecology, agriculture , forestry, agroforestry, fisheries), environmental planning (environmental ecology), community health, economics, basic and applied research, and human social interaction (human ecology).
