Fetus, also spelled fetus, the unborn young of any vertebrate animal, particularly of a mammal and the fetal period, on the other hand, is more about growth and development so your baby can survive in the outside world, after it has attained the basic form and structure typical of its kind. Women with any of the five obstacles at term showed a considerably increased risk of preterm delivery in the next pregnancy. A preterm birth is a birth that takes place more than three weeks before the baby is due. Although,  a premature  birth is one that occurs before the start of the 37th week of pregnancy. However, research into causal pathways and new demonstrative and treatment modalities is now bearing fruit and translational actions are beginning to impact upon PTB rates. A cesarean delivery is usually performed when obstacles from pregnancy make classical vaginal birth difficult, or put the mother or child at danger.
