Decomposition is that the process by which dead organic substances are diminished into simpler organic or inorganic matter like greenhouse gas , water, simple sugars and mineral salts. The method could be a a part of the nutrient cycle and is crucial for recycling the finite matter that occupies physical space within the biosphere. The bodies of living organisms start to decompose quickly after death. Animals, like worms, also help decompose the organic materials. Organisms that do that are referred to as decomposers.
