Chemical-oceanography Impact Factor

It is first devised by Eugene Garfield, the founder of Institute for Scientific Information. Chemical oceanography deals with study of ocean chemistry, more precisely, the activities of the chemical elements in world's ocean. This ocean contains almost the entire elements in the periodic table. The main focus of chemical oceanography is to illustrate the bio geochemical cycling of the elements occurring in the ocean. These cycles are typically characterized by the quantitative fluxes between constituent reservoirs within the oceans and as resident times within the oceans. Nitrogen, carbon and phosphorus and few vital trace elements such as iron are of particular global and climatic importance.
